Vocalist and harmonica player Spencer Jarrett plays a hard-driving blend of original, classic blues, and R&B.

Spencer fronts one of the hottest bands in the business, and has been featured at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, the Delta Blues Festival and the San Jose Jazz Festival.

An accomplished player at age 12, Spencer continued to hone his musical craft in New York, Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. He has backed up a veritable "Who's Who" of the blues world - including artists like Otis Rush, Big Mama Thornton, Mighty Joe Young, Wilbert Harrison, Robert Pete Williams, and many others.

Spencer frequently takes time off as a bandleader to perform and tour with the legendary traditional vocal group The Gospel Travelers, who recently shared the stage with the Mighty Clouds of Joy. The Travelers will again be featured at the 2004 Monterey Bay Blues Festival, and will be opening for the Canton Spirituals on Fathers Day weekend.
